The historic Inn is located next to the Swallow Falls State Park in Oakland, Maryland and is divided by the Youghiougheny River. We are only a 10-minute drive to Deep Creek Lake in McHenry, MD or the quaint little town of Oakland.
The Inn has a country store, three cabins, the private residence of the owners and about 28 acres of privately owned property to hike on and enjoy.
The cabins consist of two authentic log cabins built in the late 1800's and the third cabin was built in the early 1900's. All of the cabins have the basic necessities of today. More detailed information is in the "The Cabins" section of the site.
The store is the hub of the inn. Many visitors enjoy just stopping by on their way to the parks in the area to pick up some picnic supplies and souvenirs.
